A homepage redesign to engage volunteers and create a more intuitive application process
About:
Meals on Wheels Promotes Senior health by providing nutritious meals and facilitating social opportunities with integrated volunteer and donor systems
Problem:
Meals on Wheels Waco currently has a waitlist. They cannot fulfill all the client requests due to increased inquires and rising food costs.
Solution:
We believe simplifying the volunteer sign up process and featuring client sotires will evoke emapthy in site users and recruit more volunteers to "wipe out the waitlist"
IMPACT:
80% of users found the new volunteer sign up form more intuitive. 70% of users enjoyed reading the new client testimonials and 80% of volunteer applicants liked the visualization of the steps for the volunteer sign up process.

Meals on Wheels Waco currently has a waitlist. As a result, they are suffering from an increase in demand for funding, resources, and volunteers.
We have designed a more intuitive way for volunteers to sign up and reduce the waitlist while increasing interest and empathy in site users by showcasing testimonials.
